Pre-Visit Checklist

We can’t wait to see you–but before you arrive...

Pre-visit checklist background

Before Your Visit

  • Complete any new-patient forms before your appointment, if provided.
  • Make a list of medications, vitamins, supplements, and skincare products you currently use.
  • Come prepared to discuss allergies, medical conditions, previous cosmetic treatments, and any history of reactions or complications.
  • Think about your primary concerns and what you’d like to improve—but don’t worry about knowing which treatment you need. We’ll help with that.
  • Bring photos for reference if there’s a particular look, feature, or previous result you’d like to discuss.
  • Avoid trying new or potentially irritating skincare products immediately before your visit.
  • If you’re coming in for injectables or a procedure, follow any treatment-specific preparation instructions provided by our office. Do not stop prescribed medications unless instructed by your prescribing clinician. When medically appropriate, avoiding aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, fish oil, certain supplements, and alcohol can reduce bruising.
  • Avoid scheduling important events immediately after a procedure if your treatment may involve redness, swelling, bruising, peeling, or downtime.

The Day of Your Appointment

  • Arrive with clean skin and minimal or no makeup when possible, especially if you’re having a facial treatment, laser procedure, injectable, or skin evaluation.
  • Bring a photo ID, insurance information if applicable, and your preferred form of payment.
  • Plan to arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in without feeling rushed.
  • Let us know about any recent illness, infection, cold sore, sunburn, new medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or change in your health before treatment.
  • Have your calendar handy—we may recommend a treatment series or follow-up appointment.
